A comprehensive course on developing and implementing Unit Commitment optimization models for power systems. The course teaches how to develop the Unit Commitment optimization model using Python and GAMS. You will model the 'cost-based' and 'price-based' versions of the Unit Commitment model. In addition, you will learn how to linearize non-linear objective functions of the optimization model.
