power flows

Course Overview

A technical course on power flow analysis and optimization modeling for electrical grid systems. The course teaches the Generation Shift Factors (GSF) and the Line Outage Distribution Factors (LODF) for power flows. You will develop optimization models for GSF and LODF in Python and GAMS and use them to calculate how a change in electricity demand or electricity generation affects the flow of electricity in electricity grids.
