Course Overview
A comprehensive course on formulating and solving optimization problems using the Mosel programming language. The course teaches how to formulate an optimization problem in the Mosel language, solve it, and produce the output. Linear continuous and linear mixed-integer problems are examined. The course teaches scalar and array variables and constants, modelling of summations, loops, and conditionals, interaction with Excel files (input, output), procedural and functional code structures, and more. The Mosel language is widely used in academia and industry (energy, finance etc) and is an alternative to Python/Pyomo and GAMS for optimization.
