A detailed course on transmission expansion planning and electricity grid reinforcement optimization . The course teaches the Transmission Expansion Problem, which is an optimization model for reinforcing the electricity grid infrastructure. In this course, the reinforcement of the electricity grid is done by upgrading the capacity of transmission lines. You will also learn the differences between investment banking and electricity network infrastructure reinforcement. The implementation is done in Python and GAMS.
