Course Overview
This course teaches how to read the official data for the global installed generation capacity (measured in GW) of different electricity generation technologies from the official database of IRENA (International Renewable Energy Agency) and then make barplots comparing their annual global installed capacity across different years. Technologies include offshore wind, onshore wind, solar PV, geothermal, marine technology concentrated solar, storage, hydro power etc. The implementation is done in Python.
