Course Overview
A practical course on electricity grid schematic design principles and implementation using MATLAB and Python. The course teaches the essential principles for designing a basic electricity grid schematic i.e. the substation, the loads and the transmission lines connecting them, in the way we have determined. We will use Matlab and Python. You will also learn fundamental grid design concepts, including redundancy principles, N-X criteria, and the critical differences between meshed and radial grid architectures.
