A data processing course on efficient dimensionality reduction techniques for electricity demand datasets. The course teaches how to reduce the size of electricity-demand data. Using Python and Excel, you will reduce the size of a large dataset with minimal information loss. You will learn the structure of big datasets for electricity demand and then step-by-step implement the big data methodology. Such datasets are very often used as inputs to data science and optimization models, whose speed of execution increases when they have to read small rather than large datasets.
