Prerequisites: None Duration: 2 hours, 45 minutes Course Description: The course teaches the backwards induction model and how it is used to evaluate electricity grid reinforcement strategies. The model considers the presence of uncertainty. In this context, it yields the most economical combination of electricity grid reinforcements. The model's use is demonstrated for a case where the future number of electric vehicles in the system is uncertain. Through MATLAB implementation, understand how to analyze different reinforcement strategies, perform sensitivity analyses, and yield economically optimal decisions. This course bridges theoretical concepts with real-world applications in electricity grid infrastructure planning.
